SSiC Ceramic Monoblock Plate

Robert ceramic bulletproof plate has silicon carbide and boron carbide material. It is divided into reaction sintered and pressureless sintered according to sintering process. According to shape, it has single curve plate , multi-curve plate, square shape, hexagon shape and other irregular shaped composite plates.

Reaction sintered silicon carbide ceramics have excellent strength and good wear resistance. It can be fabricated into ballistic products of various shapes and sizes. Pressureless sintered silicon carbide ceramics use ultra-fine silicon carbide powder as raw material, add a small amount of sintering aids, and sinter at high temperature of 1950℃-2000℃ in atmospheric pressure or vacuum atmosphere. The sintered silicon carbide ceramic bulletproof plate has good smooth performance . Reaction sintered boron carbide ceramic ballistic plates are lighter in weight than alumina or silicon carbide with the same ballistic performance and area and can be made into various shapes such as rectangular, hexagonal or cylindrical.
